Hryhir Mykhailovych Tiutiunnyk is an Ukrainian writer, prose writer, poets. He was born on the 23^rd of April in 1920 in Poltava. He studied at Kharkov University. He went to the front as volunteer; he was wounded twice seriously, twice he escaped from captivity. He was a teacher, worked in the magazine \"October\". Hryhir Tiutiunnyk died on 29^th of August in 1961 in Lviv.

My favorite book is «Klimko», the author is Hryhir Tiutiunnyk. The main character of the story is the boy Klimko, who graduated from elementary school and accidentally orphaned. Despite all the adversity, he did not lose heart; he did not become cruel, but he remained a kind and generous boy. Klimko and his friend Zulfat began to take care about their teacher with the child. To facilitate the life of the beloved teacher, Klimko went in search of salt. He overcame all obstacles and got the salt. During the returning home, he met his death in his native village. He saw the prisoner persecuted by the military, Klimko helped him, but he fell under the sights. And the salt flowed along the road with a thin trickle from the pierced bag.
