There are two voices in English. They are Active Voice and passive Voice. In Active Voice the subject is the doer of the action. In Passive Voice the subject takes action. In Active Voice the doer is more important than the action. In Passive Voice the action is more important than the doer. We form Passive Voice with the help of the auxiliary verb to be and with the help of the third form of verb.
