Once, as a baby, Peter Pan ran away from home through a third floor window. According to the author, all babies are descended from birds and can fly, but not everyone remembers it. He flew to Kensington Gardens, where he saw the fairies who accepted him into their society. He lived and played with them for quite some time. When he flew home, he saw that the window was locked and another baby was sleeping in the crib. He realized that there was no turning back and returned to the gardens to the fairies. Then Peter Pan got to the magical island of Neverland, where all the lost kids go and became their leader. Children living on this island will never become adults, and will always play children\'s games. In this fabulous world lived pirates, mermaids and fairies. Nevertheless, Peter has not lost touch with our world and sometimes flies here. Once he met the girl Wendy and her brothers and took them to his island, and then, after many adventures, he returned them back. For Peter and his company there is no past or future. They are always in that happy period of life that we call childhood.
