Last summer I visited my grandparents who live in the village. They are already retired and stay at home all the time. The life in the village is cool and smooth. There is no rush as in our town. All people know each other by name. I got up early in the morning to see the sunrise and help my granny about the house; to feed the little ducklings and chicks. I have some friends in the village. They are Ivan, Peter and Olga. We went swimming to the pond together. After rains, we went to the forest to collect the mushrooms. In the evenings, we sat close to Olga’s house and told stories and anecdotes until midnight. I really enjoy spending summer in the village and plan to go there again.
