At first, everything went well, but then there was a great storm. —  Сначала все шло хорошо, но потом был большой шторм.

The ship came very close to the rocks and crashed into them. —  Корабль приблизился к скалам и врезался в них.

Some of the sailors and I got a boat into the water.— Некоторые из моряков и я спустили лодку в воду.

 When a big wave hits, we all fell into the sea. — Когда был большой удар по волне, мы все упали в море.

I was swimming for a very tired. — Я плавал очень усталым.    

I felt that I could not swim any longer. — Я чувствовал, что больше не могу плавать.

But the shore was not far away and soon my feet touched the ground. — Но берег был недалеко, и скоро мои ноги коснулись земли.

I walked out of the beach-there were no houses, there were no people.— Я вышел из пляжа - домов не было, людей не было.

I was so tired that I lay down and fell asleep. — Я так устал, что лег и уснул.
