где be спрягается:

• am - после I (я); 
• is - для существительных в единственном числе и he (он), she (она), it (оно);
• are - для существительных во множественном числе и we (мы), you (ты, вы), they (они);

а Ving - основной глагол с -ing: 

• talk - am running;
• run - is hiding;
• hide - are talking.

В отрицательных предложениях после am/is/are появляется not: is not playing.
