Once I rested in the village with my grandparents. One day after the rain, the grandfather offered to go for mushrooms. We took two pits and in the morning went to the forest. We collected Porcini mushrooms and Polish mushrooms. And suddenly I heard some rustling behind the bushes. At first we thought it was the same mushroom pickers roaming the forest. But the noise increased, and then we heard the tramp of someone’s hoofs. A huge wild boar jumped out of us from behind a bush. My grandfather and I were very scared and started screaming at the top of our voices. But the poor boar apparently frightened even more of us. With a wild roar, it rushed into the other bushes and disappeared from sight. But in the evening we had in store a great drinking story for our acquaintances - how we got out of the attack of a wild animal!
