Darren isn’t happy in his new job. He doesn’t earn much money even though he has many responsibilities. Very few companies he has worked for before have paid him so little money for so much hard work. He has sent a few applications to other companies, but there are very few jobs and too many people looking for work these days. In the current economic climate he has little hope of finding anything better, but when things improve he’ll probably find a job which will pay him much more money.
