Hi Katie,

This summer holidays my family and I are spending in Barcelona. This is my first visit to Spain and I`m completely in love with this country! It is beautiful, its history is great and the food is delicious.

We`re staying in a small cozy hotel in Barcelona. The owners are very pleasant people, they make tasty breakfasts for us with Spanish bacon - jamon, eggs and fresh orange juice.

Before the trip I`ve read a lot about the architecture of Barcelona. But you know that it`s better to see once than to hear a hundred times! Yesterday we visited Goudy Park and walked along la Rambla, the most famous street in the city.

Tomorrow we`re going to spend a few hours at the beach and on Tuesday we want to go shopping, because it`s the season of sales now. Promise to bring you a Spanish souvenir!
