My favorite dishes.

I love Russian and Italian cuisine.  My mother cooks Russian traditional dishes perfectly. Our breakfast doesn’t take much time to prepare.  We usually eat sandwiches with coffee, fried or scrambled eggs and various kinds of porridges. I prefer toasts with jam and black tea.  For lunch or dinner, we eat different soups.  The most popular is “borsch”, but I like pizza and pasta more. My father can’t imagine his meal without meat. He eats slice of ham for breakfast and a steak for dinner.  Supper is our main meal of the day, because the whole family gathers together. My mother prefers light supper consisting of yoghurt and fruits. And I love potatoes with herring or fried chicken. I can say with confidence that my favorite dish is ice-cream.
