Если имеются в виду «политические новости», то лучше сказать:

Some political news is sometimes interesting to me, but I wouldn\'t tell that I’m interested in it too much. I consider that we can\'t know the whole truth about politics so I usually don\'t look for information.

Если же имеется в виду «полицейские сводки», то:

Some poliсe reports are sometimes interesting to me, but I wouldn\'t tell that I’m interested in them too much. I consider that we can\'t learn the whole truth about police so I usually don\'t look for information.
