Глагол to be спрягается следующим образом:

В Present Simple: I am a medical student. You are a medical student. He is a medical student. She is a medical student. It is my telephone. We  are medical students. They are medical students.                                

В Past Simple:   I was a gifted musician. You were a gifted musician. He was a gifted musician. She was a gifted musician. It was a plain dress. We were  gifted musicians. They were gifted musicians.
