In my opinion, there are only three ways to become a good citizen. First of all, you need to be a respectful member of your community, all the while contributing to its well-being. Secondly, you need to participate in the civil life, including going voting to the elections and keeping track of the elected politicians. Finally, every good citizen should know everything about his or her own rights and do his or her best to maximize the outcome. If following these principles, a person can fully dare to say that he or she is a good citizen.
