Children of the Underground is a story about friendship a boy Vasya with a boy Valyok and a girl Marusya. Vasya was a boy from rich famous family of judge. Valyok and Marusya are children from poor family. They lived in the Underground of church. Marusya was ill and Vasya decided to give her a sister\'s doll. When Vasya\'s father discovered that Sonya’s sister’s doll is not at home, he decided that Vasya had stolen this doll. But Vasya took this doll to give the sick girl Marusya. When Marusya dead her father said that Vasya was a good boy with big heart and then he returned a doll to Vasya\' s father.

After Marusya death Valyok and his father leave a town and Vasya haven\'t seen them again. But he often go to the graveyard to visit a tomb of Marusya.
