Mountain Ring is one of the main natural attractions of Kislovodsk. It is situated at the foot of Borgustan Ridge. The Ring-mountain is an unusual rock formation. It is a round hole in the rock, with the  diameter of about 10 meters, which was formed due to the processes of rock\'s weathering. Near the Ring there are several grottoes — the result of natural processes during centuries. At the highest point it reaches 871 meters above sea level. The natural monument almost entirely consists of sandstone.The rock is considered to be an excellent observation deck. Mountain Ring offers a beautiful panorama of Kislovodsk and its surroundings, as well as picturesque views of its grottoes and caves. Nowadays, the Ring mountain has become one of the main attractions of the resort Kislovodsk.
