We left London last week and travelled north. Some people say Edinburgh is the most beautiful city in Britain. We stayed in a small, but comfortable hotel in the centre near the castle. We visited the castle and Holyroodhouse last week. Yesterday, we went to Edinburgh zoo and did some shopping. The Royal Mile has lots of souvenir shops that is selling traditional Scottish souvenirs and there are big department stores on Princes Street. I really loved the food here! They serve delicious cakes and hot soup. It is very cold and it rains a lot.
