Moscow was founded by Yuri Dolgorukiy in 1147. Its main sights are the Kremlin, which is located in famous Red Square, Gorky Park, Tretyakov Gallery and many others. The former capital of Russia, Saint-Petersburg, is also known for many great landmarks such as the Winter Palace, Peter and Paul Fortress, and Church of the Savior on Blood. This city was founded by first Russian emperor Peter I in 1703. Another great Russian city, Tver, was founded earlier, in 1135 (unfortunately, historians haven`t reached the agreement on the city founder`s name) and is known for a huge number of tourists attractions, including Park of Victory, Tver State Museum, and Monument to the writer Saltykov-Shchedrin.
