Are — is used in present tenses with plural.

My parents are doctors.

My parents are driving to London now.   

Will — is used in future tense.

My sister will read this book.

Were — is the second form of the verb to be. It is used with plural.

There were many trees in this park.

The girls were singing.

Has — is used with the third person singular in present tenses.

Ton has got a red pen.

Is — is used in present tense with the third person singular.

He is washing the dishes.

The pen is red.

Am — is used in present tense with the first person singular.

I am reading an interesting story now.
