I got up very late yesterday. I looked out of the window and saw that the weather was bad. So I thought for some time and decided that I had time to myself. Suddenly the telephone rang. I came up to the telephone and took the receiver. My Friend Nick called. He said that it was his day off and invited me to his place. I spent the whole day there. First we talked about our problems; then we watched TV, there was an interesting American film which we liked, then we had tea in the kitchen and talked again. We listened to some music and when I looked at the watch I saw that it was 8 in the evening. I thought I must be off and said goodbye to Nick. When I came home my parents asked me, “Did you have a good time?” “Yes,” I answered, “I certainly did.” But I was sorry, I did not write a single page on that day.
