What does the Olympic flag symbolize

The Olympic flag consists of five colourful rings on the white background. The white colour on the Olympic flag means optimism, when in the meantime, five rings the means a union between different continents.  Some of the people think that different colours of the rings mean five continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America. Every colour represents own continent which participates in the biggest sports event - Olympic Games. On the other way, some of the people think that these colours don\'t mean anything.
