1. Stay inside the house, close all the doors and windows.
2. Switch off the phone and other devices.
3. Unplug your electronics.
4. Avoid swimming in the rivers, lakes and other places.
5. Do not hide under the high trees standing alone.
6. Stay away from the hills and look at the sky in case of lightning that might strike.
7. If you are in the car, close the windows and turn your radio off.
8. Do not run, avoid metal things if you are outside.
9. Avoid taking a bath or shower. 
10. Do not lie on the wet ground.
11. Avoid large open spaces like fields, golf courses.
12. If you have to go outside, you’d better wear rubber shoes.
