Ing-form or infinitive? Put the verbs in brackets in the -ing form or the infinitive? I used (travel) quite a lot on

I used to travel quite a lot on business but once I discovered what travelling is all about, I changed my job. I just couldn’t get used to sleeping in hotel beds and eating restaurant food. I couldn’t see anything glamorous in spending ten hours in a meeting and then being asked to eat out in a restaurant and going to bed after midnight. I saw my colleagues living like this for years and I don’t think they were enjoying themselves. Now, during my holidays I try to relax at home, do some gardening and DIY, and I never regret changing my lifestyle.
