Can I exchange rubles for pounds here?

That day I woke up very late as my alarm did not work. When I opened my eyes, I looked at the clock. When I looked at the time, I jumped out of my bed. I washed and put on my clothes very quickly. I did not even time to have breakfast. I was hurrying because I had money which I must exchange, in order to buy the dress which I wanted. I must buy it as soon as possible. Otherwise, it would end. I entered the nearest market and asked the assistant. 

- Good morning, can you help me? I am in a hurry.

- Good morning. What is wrong?

- Can I exchange rubles for pounds here?

- Yes, of course. Go straight.

- Oh, thank you very much.

- You are welcome.
