Memorial Day is a very important date for all the British nation. It is more commonly known as Remembrance Day in Great Britain. The British celebrate it every year on the eleventh of November.

This day marks the end of World War I. On this day people remember all the soldiers who died during World War I, World War II and every other war fought after that. 

This day is sometimes called The Poppy Day because this flower became its symbol. People bring poppies to the war memorials to show their respect.
