What is hardware and software

Hardware is a physical elements or parts that complete a computer. Generally, hardware means parts of the computer. Examples of hardware are mouse, keyboard, monitor, camera, speaker, printer, memory, motherboard and other internal components.

In a strict sense, software is a term used for the various kinds of computer programs. Software is a set of instructions that directing a computer to perform distinct tasks.

It is important to understand that hardware works hand-in-hand with software to make all computer function.
