Mexico is a country that is located on the continent of North America. It is adjacent to only three countries: the United States, Guatemala and Belize. Mexico is a federal constitutional republic, which consists of 31 states. The capital of this state is Mexico City, one of the most populated megalopolises of the world. The official language of Mexico is Spanish, and in the number of Hispanic inhabitants it is in the first place. Mexico is located in the tropical and subtropical zone of the Northern Hemisphere. Once Mexico was the cradle of a great ancient civilization - Maya and Aztec. Now it is a third world country.
