Moldova is a beautiful country known in the world for its admiring landscapes, agriculture products and especially for its wines of high quality. Even there is a holiday dedicated to the wine which is called National Wine Day. The Wine Day is traditionally celebrated on the first Saturday of October. Celebration is held in the capital of the country – in Kishinev. Citizens and tourists gather at the Great National Assembly Square where guests can taste wines for free, but children – grape juice. Moreover, it is a great chance for tourist to learn more about Moldavian customs and traditions, taste variety of national dishes and listen to the national music. This holiday is highly appreciated in Moldova because it provides a possibility to remember rich Moldavian winemaking traditions and can attract tourist developing the touristic sector of the country.
