I cannot agree with the statement that people no longer need libraries, because they can download all book from the internet.

First of all, not all books, existing in the libraries, have been transformed in the digital format. So not all books are available in the internet. If people need some particular books, which they cannot find online, they have to go to the library for it.

Secondly, some books, especially ancient ones, are a part of the history. They are stored in libraries as masterpieces. So, in order to get acquainted with the unique book, people have to visit the place, where it is kept.
