My favourite Season

There are four seasons of the year spring, summer, autumn and winter. Winter is my favourite season. I like winter because there is a lot of snow and ice. I like the sparkling snow on the ground. It is very beautiful when the snowflakes fall by the light of street lamps. We can play snowballs, ski and skate. My favourite sport is hockey. And I can play this game with my friends on the skating-rink in the yard. We celebrate the New Year in winter. For me it is the best holiday of the year. People give gifts to each other. At school we have a New Year’s party. It’s cool!
