What are your family traditions?

Family is the most valuable thing we have in life. Each family is unique as it has its own relationships within, as well as family traditions.As for my family - it\'s not very big and I can\'t say that we have a lot of traditions, but still. For example, each holiday all my close relatives gather at the gradparent\'s house to celebrate. Granny cooks a lot of tasty dishes and my aunt usually bakes several cakes (we have never had less than two, but they are always delicious).In summer, when we have long weekends, we usually go to picnics with my parents. It\'s a kind of tradition either. We have our favorite place not far from the city. It\'s situated on the river bank with a forest nearby.As my parents usually have vacations in winter we usually travel somewhere abroad. My father is a ski-lover, so it\'s highly preferable to go to the place where there are mountains. Neither my mother, nor me are such fans, but we have a good time too, because the nature there is always awesome.Our traditions are ordinary and we have nothing special, but just try to spend a good time together, still we always have fun!
