Nowadays the Internet and television became much more important then the radio, and many people have already forgotten what it is. Anyway, there are still people for whom radio is important. First of all these are people with problems with vision. It is difficult for such people to read newspapers/ books or watch TV, so the best way out for them to entertain themselves is to listen to the radio. The other group of people to whom it can be applied is drivers, especially professional ones, as it\'s much more fun to listen to music or to the news in a long trip then just sit in silence.
