Помогите с Английским

А почему тема обществознания, а не английский язык?

I **did not have** a good day yesterday. I **could not** stay in bed late because it was Monday, and I had to go to school. Unfortunately, I **did not get** up on time, and I **did not catch** the bus. I wanted to take a taxi, but I **was not** lucky. There **were not** any taxis in our street. I **did not want** to ask my dad to take me by car because I thought it **was not** a very good idea.

I went to school on foot, and as I **was not** used to long walks, I was pretty tired. I **did not listen** to our English teacher, and when we wrote a revision test, I **did not pass** it. Believe me, my parents **were not** very happy about it.
