Another version of this proverb is "East or West, home is best".  Whatever place we visit,  we miss our home.  We think that new places can be better.  Rich palaces, exquisite mansions can seem very attractive.  But they lack warmth and kindness of our own home.  Our parents, sisters and brothers also fill our homes with the feeling of love.  Even simple things such as books or furniture at home look warrmer and  more friendly.  Wherever we go, we always come back home.  Our home is the best  place for us, the only place we can feel comfortable in. And it is the only place where we can feel fully protected.
