On April, 12 our
country celebrates the Day of Cosmonautics. It is a national holiday. Years, decades, centuries will pass, people will forget the dates of
wars and revolutions, but this day will always be remembered, and I
think that this day of April 12 in the near future will become forever a red date to celebrate the event. After all, at that day - April
12, 1961 - people began space exploration. To us, it looks natural
that a spacecraft starts from the Earth. Now in wide celestial expanses there is a docking spacecraft. For months astronauts live
and work in space, automatic stations fly to other planets. You can ask "What's so
special?" But not so long we talked about space travel as science fiction.
