Помогите пожалуйста!
Last week I (take) my car to the garage for a service. They promised it (repair) by the end of the day. On my way home I realized I (leave) the keys to my house in the garage. At first I wanted to phone the garage from the call-box on the corner, but then I had an idea. Opposite my house some workmen (do) some painting. I explained to them what (happen) and they (lend) me one of their ladders. I carried it back to the house and started to climb towards an upstairs window which I (leave) open. Unfortunately, while I (try) to climb in the ladder (slip). When I (wake) up later in hospital I (tell) that I (break) an arm and a leg and that a policeman (wait) to see me.
