How do animals and birds get ready for winter?

When winter become closer, some types of birds fly to warmer countries and stay there before it warm in their native places. Other birds found warm places in houses and trees and take more food. Animals get ready for winter with other way. Some animals like hedgehogs and bears go to their underground houses and sleep there before spring. Animals, that don't sleep too much in winter, make their fur fluffier to get warmer when it snows.
