I. Перепишите следующие предложения, определите в каждом из них видовременную форму и залог глагола-сказуемого (см. образец). Переведите предложения на русский язык.

1.He said that our machines met their requirements and they were interested in buying them.

2.I’ve studied the new model closely.

3.Our machines are of high quality therefore customers are pleased with them.

4.He said he had received a lot of orders for our products.

 

II.  Перепишите следующие предложения и переведите их на русский язык, обращая внимание на разные значения слов it, that, one.

1.Anyone who wants to set up a small business is to make sure that he/she is choosing one which will work and yield big profit.

2.It is this business that requires less capital and yields big profit.

3.His skills in keeping the books are better than that of me.

4.It is important to take a long look at the market, customers, demand for and supply of product to choose an appropriate business.

 

III.            Перепишите предложения и переведите их на русский язык, обращая внимание на разные значения глаголов to be, to have, to do.

1.If you are a sole trader you alone have responsibility for the business.

2.Doing business is a very difficult kind of human activity.

3.The first step I had to take was to study my future customers.

4.The conference about the rate of unemployment in Russia is to start at 10 a.m.

 

IV. Перепишите следующие предложения и переведите их на русский язык, обращая внимание на бессоюзное подчинение.

1.  You don’t have enough capital for the business you want to do.

2. The information about the market we got is incorrect.

 

V. Перепишите следующие предложения и переведите их на русский язык, обращая внимание на функцию инфинитива.

1.     You should carry out the necessary research of the market to make sure that your good is in demand and needed by the people.

2.     It’s important to know if your production is efficient.

3.     His suggestion to set up a small business is not too bad.

4.     To be a sole trader means to have all responsibility for business.

1) has been used - Present Perfect Passive voice

Радиолокатор используется для автоматического управления наземным транспортом.

2)are being used - Present Continous. Passive voice

Сегодня вместо металлов широко используется пластмасса.

3)has been completed- Present Perfect Passive voice 

Строительство плотины бвло завершено в этом месяце.

4)were experimented- Past Simple. Passive voice
