My personal experience is a compelling example of this. I started learning my second langauge when I was about 4. I went to school earlier than I was supposed to and being the youngest kid in class, I still managed to finish my tests first and learn the assigned material the fastest. It also made me curious about other cultures and more empathetic towards people with different backgrounds.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that children should start learning foreign languages as soon as possible. This is because it helps enhance their academic abilities as well as shapes them into more curious and empathetic human beings.

Learning a foreign language at a young age can impact the child's ability to use their native language and in fact can lead to it's loss completely. The improper usage of the native language at a young age will make it difficult for them to learn a foreign language in future. Also, it will make it hard for them to use any one of the languages when necessary, thus putting too much unnecessary presure on them. My personal experience is a compelling example of this. I started learning my second language when I was four. Both when I was younger and now, it's always been really hard for me to think in one language only. It might not seem like a big issue at first, but when your thoughts appear in your head in one language and you have to express them in the other, it can turn into a disaster.

In conclusion, I strongly belive that children should not learn foreign languages at an early age. This is because it can cause them to improperly develop or even lose their native language. It also puts too much unnecessary pressure on a child who doesn't have a fully developed psychology.
