Zoos are places where people keep and display animals. They are situated in big towns and cities where people can go and watch the variety of wildlife. Nowadays it’s very popular to create safary parks in which animals live free, but not in cages, as in traditional zoos.Visiting a zoo is both an educational and entertaining activity. On the one hand, one can learn a lot about different species of animals and birds, their way of living and behaviour. On the other hand, zoo visitors have a lot of fun watching funny monkeys, proud peacocks, quick squirrels, lazy koalas or strong tigers and lions. You can also see how animals are fed by zoo keepers and how they are treated by vets. It helps people to understand that we are responsible for animals, and if we don’t take care of them, if we hunt them cruelly, they’ll become extinct one day. I think that zoos should be places for sick and weak animals to help them survive. But strong healthy animals should live in their habitats according to the laws of nature.
