Shopping experience in Ukraine is similar to shopping in pretty much any European country. Going to the market is a common thing, especially in the countryside or among older people. Small family businesses like groceries or bakeries have recently gained popularity as well. The vast majority still prefers supermarkets, though. Shopping malls are usually  crowded with teenagers and young adults either window-shopping or actually spending money. All in all, shopping in Ukraine is really versatile.
