The expression \"Work keeps us from three great evils: boredom, vice and need\" is a correct expression. Why? Because work really does what the expression says. It keeps us from those great evils. And we are not bored if we are doing what we want to do. Especially if we get money for it. That makes the need done too. And what about vice? When we are working, we are getting an experience that can be useful in later life.
