Как ответить на английском языке на вопрос(is the United States an old traditions or a young country with old and new

The USA is a multicultural country. It combines many sorts of traditions, languages, mindsets. Though this country has a long and difficult history,  and we can\'t say that the USA is a young country. I\'m inclined to think that it is an old country with a variety of traditions both new and old and this is the thing that makes it unique.
